Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. -
Fold in Chocolate Chips and Walnuts:
Gently fold in 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped walnuts (if using). -
Scoop the Dough:
Using an ice cream scoop, scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie. -
Bake:
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft. -
Cool:
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. -
