Description

These 4 Ingredient Cheese Star Puffs are buttery, flaky, and filled with gooey cheese — shaped into adorable stars and baked to golden perfection. The easiest, crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack you’ll ever make.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out puff pastry slightly and cut out star shapes using a cookie cutter.
  3. Place half of the stars on the baking sheet and top each with a small amount of shredded cheese in the center.
  4. Top with remaining stars, press edges lightly to seal.
  5. Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly and serve warm.
