Description

Crispy, cheesy, and packed with seasoned beef, these Air Fryer Taco Sticks are the ultimate quick snack or dinner. Wrapped in flaky crescent dough and air-fried to perfection, they’re a handheld twist on taco night!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 egg (optional, beaten for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a skillet, brown ground beef. Drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Let simmer, then mix with shredded cheese.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Unroll crescent dough into rectangles. Flatten slightly.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Add 2–3 tablespoons of filling to each rectangle. Fold over and seal edges. Brush tops with butter or egg wash.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Place in air fryer basket. Cook 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp, flipping halfway.
  6. Finishing Touches: Let cool slightly, garnish as desired.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve hot with dips like salsa, guac, or sour cream.

Notes

  • Seal edges tightly to avoid filling leaks.
  • Don’t overfill — 2–3 tablespoons is enough.
  • Freeze uncooked for future quick meals.
  • Great for parties, lunches, or appetizers.
