Ingredients
- 8 oz medium pasta shells
- 1 lb diced lean beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Cook the Pasta:
Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. -
Sauté the Onion and Garlic:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté onion and garlic until softened, about 3-4 minutes. -
Cook the Beef:
Add diced beef to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks, until browned and fully cooked. -
Season and Simmer:
Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in beef broth and heavy cream, bringing the mixture to a simmer. -
Simmer the Sauce:
Reduce heat and let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes until it thickens to a creamy consistency. -
Combine Pasta and Sauce:
Add the cooked pasta shells to the skillet, stirring until the pasta is fully coated in the creamy sauce. -
Finish with Cheese and Garnish:
Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can use any pasta shape you like; shells or penne work great for this dish.
- For extra richness, you can add a dollop of cream cheese to the sauce.
- If you’d like a bit of heat, sprinkle in some red pepper flakes with the paprika.
