Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni (dry)
  • 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add ground beef and cook until browned. Add onion and cook until soft. Stir in garlic.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Stir in elbow macaroni and make sure it’s well coated.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Cover and simmer on low for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  6. Finishing Touches: Adjust seasoning if needed. Add a splash of broth if too thick.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Let it sit 5 minutes before serving for best texture and flavor.
  • Use high-quality tomatoes for a richer sauce.
