Description

A creamy, sweet-savory holiday dip featuring warm cream cheese, tart cranberries, cheddar, and festive spices, baked to bubbly perfection. Ideal for parties, potlucks, or cozy winter nights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9-inch round baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spoon mixture into the baking dish and smooth out the top.
  4. Top with fresh cranberries or cranberry sauce, and an optional sprinkle of cheese or brown sugar.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  6. Garnish with rosemary or a dash of cinnamon if desired. Serve hot with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing.
  • Add orange zest for a citrusy twist.
  • Top with sugared cranberries for extra holiday flair.
