These Baked Cream Cheese Chicken Taquitos are loaded with creamy, cheesy shredded chicken and baked to crispy perfection. They’re quick to make, family-friendly, and perfect for weeknight dinners or party appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  4. Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
  5. Place 2 tablespoons of filling near the edge of each tortilla and roll tightly.
  6. Place taquitos seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Lightly brush or spray tops with oil and bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with desired dips.

  • Freeze unbaked taquitos for easy make-ahead meals.
