2 ripe bananas, mashed
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup milk
2 1/4 tsp yeast
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup brown sugar (for filling)
2 tbsp cinnamon (for filling)
1/4 cup softened butter (for filling)
4 oz cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Warm milk and mix with yeast; let sit until foamy.
Combine mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, and yeast mixture. Gradually add flour and salt to form a dough.
Knead for 5-7 minutes, then let rise for 1 hour.
Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread with softened butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll up tightly, cut into slices, and place in a greased baking dish. Let rise for 30 minutes.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
For glaze, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over warm rolls.
