Description
Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls combine the soft texture of banana bread with the sweet swirls of cinnamon sugar, topped with a luscious cream cheese glaze.

- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 1/4 tsp yeast
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for filling)
- 2 tbsp cinnamon (for filling)
- 1/4 cup softened butter (for filling)
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Warm milk and mix with yeast; let sit until foamy.
- Combine mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, and yeast mixture. Gradually add flour and salt to form a dough.
- Knead for 5-7 minutes, then let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread with softened butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up tightly, cut into slices, and place in a greased baking dish. Let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- For glaze, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over warm rolls.
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for more flavor.
- Add chopped nuts for a crunchy twist.
- Best served warm.
