Elevate your Rice Krispie treats with a delightful Banana Pudding flair. Infused with the crunch of vanilla wafers and the sweet indulgence of banana pudding mix, this dessert promises a playful and effortless delight for everyone’s palate.

  • 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • Sliced bananas (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cereal Mix: In a large bowl, combine the Rice Krispies cereal and crushed vanilla wafers. Set aside.
  • Melt the Marshmallows: In a saucepan, gently melt the butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  • Add Banana Pudding Mix: Stir in the instant banana pudding mix with the melted marshmallows until fully incorporated.
  • Combine with Cereal: Quickly pour the marshmallow-banana pudding mixture over the cereal mixture. Stir well to coat all the cereal evenly.
  • Optional Extra Sweetness: If desired, fold in white chocolate chips for extra sweetness and creaminess.
  • Press and Set: Transfer the mixture into a prepared 9×13-inch pan, using wax paper or greased hands to press it down evenly.
  • Cool and Slice: Allow the Rice Krispies to cool and set for at least 30 minutes. Slice into squares.
  • Serve: Serve with fresh banana slices on top for an extra banana flavor.

Notes

  • If you prefer a richer taste, feel free to add more white chocolate chips.
  • Store the Rice Krispies treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days.
