Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry with juicy ground beef, crisp cabbage, and bell peppers tossed in a bold black pepper sauce. This dish is perfect for busy weeknights and delivers takeout-style flavor in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked white rice (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and black pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, stir-fry garlic, cabbage, and bell pepper for 5–7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and toss everything together.
  5. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly. Serve hot over rice if desired.
