Ingredients

  • 🫐 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 🍓 1/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
  • 🥕 1/4 cup grated carrots
  • 🍚 1 cup rice flour (or any dog-safe flour)
  • 🥄 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for added flavor)
  • 💧 1/4 cup water (add more if needed)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour and coconut oil (if using).
  • Add the blueberries, chopped strawberries, and grated carrots to the mixture. Stir until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Gradually add water, a little at a time, until the mixture forms a dough. The dough should be firm enough to hold its shape when rolled into balls.
  • Roll the dough into small balls, about the size of a tablespoon, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the balls are firm and slightly golden.
  • Allow the balls to cool completely on a wire rack before serving them to your dog.

Notes

  • For best results, store in an airtight container. These treats will stay fresh for up to a week at room temperature, or you can freeze them for up to 3 months.
  • Always check with your veterinarian before introducing new treats to your dog’s diet, especially if they have allergies or special dietary needs.
