- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup warm water
- 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Stir to form a dough.
- Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Divide dough into 12 pieces and roll each into a rope 6 to 8 inches long. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and Parmesan while still warm.
