Description

Burger tacos bring the best of two worlds—juicy, seasoned ground beef and classic burger toppings wrapped in a soft taco shell. A quick, fun twist on taco night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 small soft flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 3/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/2 cup burger sauce (mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Cook until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Warm the taco shells in a dry skillet or oven for a few minutes.
  5. Spread burger sauce on each shell.
  6. Layer with cooked beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese.
  7. Top with pickles and a final drizzle of sauce. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Double the sauce for extra flavor.
  • Use a slotted spoon to avoid soggy tacos.
  • Toast tortillas lightly before filling.
  • Pre-chop toppings for quick assembly.
