Description

A crunchy and satisfying Caesar-style slaw loaded with golden crispy chicken, fresh greens, creamy dressing, and plenty of texture in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 450 g chicken cutlets
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1/2 cup grated hard cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  2. Place the beaten eggs in one bowl and the breadcrumbs in another.
  3. Dip each chicken cutlet into the eggs, then coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
  4. Pan fry the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from the pan, let it rest briefly, then slice.
  6. In a large bowl, toss the cabbage and romaine with the Caesar dressing.
  7. Add the croutons and grated cheese, mixing gently.
  8. Top with sliced crunchy chicken and finish with black pepper before serving.
