Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 10 Reese’s cups, chopped
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • ½ cup crushed Oreos (for topping)
  • ½ cup chopped Reese’s cups (for topping)
  • ½ cup whipped cream (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • Prepare the crust: Combine the crushed Oreos with the melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and set aside.
  • Make the cheesecake filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Mix in the flavorings: Stir in the vanilla extract, sour cream, and peanut butter until fully combined.
  • Add the Reese’s cups: Gently fold in the chopped Reese’s cups, then pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust.
  • Bake the cheesecake: Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and crack the door open, allowing the cheesecake to cool inside for about 1 hour.
  • Chill the cheesecake: After the initial cooling, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best texture.
  • Top and serve: Once chilled, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top, then sprinkle with crushed Oreos and chopped Reese’s cups. Add a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
  • Serve: Slice, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Chilling Time: For the best texture, refrigerate the cheesecake overnight. This allows the flavors to meld and the cheesecake to set properly.
  • Peanut Butter: Smooth peanut butter works best, but you can use crunchy for added texture if desired.
  • Caramel Drizzle: For an extra indulgent touch, you can warm the caramel sauce slightly before drizzling over the cheesecake.
