- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups roasted cashews, chopped
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened and pulling from the sides.
- Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
- Remove caramel mixture from heat, stir in vanilla and cashews, then pour over the white chocolate base.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for 2 hours or refrigerate to set faster.
- Sprinkle sea salt if using, slice into squares, and serve.
