These cheesy garlic crescent rolls are a delightful combination of buttery, flaky dough and savory garlic and cheese. They’re perfect as a side dish, appetizer, or snack! Every bite offers the perfect balance of rich, melted cheese and aromatic garlic, making them irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven according to the temperature specified on the crescent roll dough package (typically 375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fragrant.
  • Unroll the Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangles along the perforated lines.
  • Add the Cheese: Sprinkle a small amount of mozzarella and cheddar cheese onto the wide end of each triangle.
  • Roll the Dough: Roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end and rolling toward the pointed tip. Tuck in the edges slightly to keep the cheese contained.
  • Brush with Garlic Butter: Place the rolled crescents seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Generously brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and black pepper for added flavor.
  • Bake: Bake the crescent rolls for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Serve and Enjoy: Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm as a side dish or snack!

Notes

  • Feel free to use any combination of cheese you prefer, such as Parmesan or Monterey Jack, for different flavors.
  • You can prepare the garlic butter mixture in advance and store it in the fridge for convenience.
  • For an extra garlic punch, sprinkle some extra minced garlic on top before baking.
