- 4 large russet potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- Grease the slow cooker with non-stick spray or butter.
- Layer the diced potatoes and onions in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the cheese mixture over the potatoes and onions, stirring gently to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until potatoes are tender.
