- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions. Add broccoli during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and reserved pasta water. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Add chicken, pasta, and broccoli to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra cheese or parsley if desired.

- Use freshly grated cheese for the best melt and flavor.
- Cook broccoli briefly to keep it bright and crisp-tender.
