Description

These Chocolate Malted Brownies are fudgy, rich, and infused with malted milk flavor for a nostalgic twist. Topped with a glossy chocolate glaze and crunchy malted milk balls, they’re the ultimate treat for chocolate lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup malted milk powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped malted milk balls (e.g. Whoppers)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in sugars and vanilla.
  3. Whisk in eggs one at a time until smooth and glossy.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, malted milk powder, salt, and baking powder. Add to wet mixture and stir just until combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25–28 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely.
  7. Drizzle with chocolate glaze and sprinkle with chopped malted milk balls. Slice and enjoy!
