- 1 package of Oreo cookies (crushed into fine crumbs)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chocolate chips or chocolate spread
- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts (or homemade pie dough)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional, for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies with the softened cream cheese until well combined and forming a dough-like consistency.
- Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface and cut out circles (about 4 inches in diameter) using a cookie cutter or a glass.
- Place a spoonful of the Oreo-cream cheese mixture in the center of each dough circle. Add a few chocolate chips or a dollop of chocolate spread on top.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges with a fork to seal them properly.
- In a small bowl, whisk the egg with milk to make an egg wash. Brush it lightly over each hand pie to give them a golden finish.
- Optionally, sprinkle some sugar on top for extra sweetness and crunch.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool slightly before serving.
- Enjoy warm while the chocolate is gooey and melty!

- You can use homemade pie dough if you prefer, but refrigerated pie crusts are quick and easy.
