- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 medium banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a ramekin or small baking dish.
- In a bowl, mash the banana, then stir in oats, milk, egg, vanilla, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Let sit for a few minutes.
- Pour half the oat mixture into the ramekin. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Drop the cream cheese into the center and swirl gently. Add the remaining oat mixture on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
- Mix brown sugar with a bit of cinnamon and sprinkle on top right out of the oven.
- Let cool slightly and enjoy warm.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for best sweetness and texture.
- Let the oat mixture sit before baking for a creamier result.
- For added texture, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
