Description

Churro Cheesecake Baked Oats combine cozy cinnamon-sugar flavor with a creamy cheesecake swirl, all in a warm, golden baked oat breakfast that feels like dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 medium banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a ramekin or small baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mash the banana, then stir in oats, milk, egg, vanilla, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt. Let sit for a few minutes.
  3. Pour half the oat mixture into the ramekin. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  4. Drop the cream cheese into the center and swirl gently. Add the remaining oat mixture on top.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
  6. Mix brown sugar with a bit of cinnamon and sprinkle on top right out of the oven.
  7. Let cool slightly and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for best sweetness and texture.
  • Let the oat mixture sit before baking for a creamier result.
  • For added texture, sprinkle chopped nuts on top.
