Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prep

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, crabmeat, diced celery, onion, and minced garlic.

Step 2: Make the Sauce

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in the mayonnaise and grated cheddar cheese until smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3: Combine and Bake

  1. Fold the seafood mixture into the sauce, then transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the casserole.
  3. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve

  1. Remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use a mix of crabmeat and shrimp or add other seafood, like scallops, for variety.
  • For a lighter version, substitute the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt or sour cream.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving for an extra burst of freshness.
