Description

A rich and creamy dessert with a fudgy brownie base, a silky caramel cheesecake layer, and beautiful swirls of golden caramel on top. Every bite is pure indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Line a springform pan with parchment and wrap the bottom in foil.
  2. In a bowl, mix butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla, cocoa powder, flour, and melted chocolate to make brownie base. Spread in pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add remaining sugar, eggs, sour cream, vanilla, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  4. Pour cheesecake batter over brownie layer. Swirl in caramel sauce using a knife.
  5. Place pan in a larger baking dish. Add hot water to create a water bath.
  6. Bake 50–60 minutes until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Turn off oven, crack door, and let cool for 1 hour. Chill for 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Slice and serve with extra caramel drizzle if desired.

Notes

  • Use room temperature ingredients for smooth blending.
  • Don’t overmix the cheesecake batter.
  • Chill overnight for best texture.
  • Slice with a warm knife for clean cuts.
