- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in the uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
