This hearty and comforting casserole combines ground beef, rice, creamy soups, and melted cheddar cheese for a simple and satisfying meal. Perfect for busy weeknights, this one-pan dish is sure to please the whole family with its savory flavors and easy preparation.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess grease.
  • Stir in the uncooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
  • Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days before baking.
