- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cups mashed potatoes
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup frozen carrots
- 1/2 cup frozen corn
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, peas, carrots, and corn. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Spoon mashed potatoes over the top and smooth with a spatula. Use a fork to create texture on top for browning.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the top is golden and filling is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
