Keep this easy homemade Stir Fry Sauce on hand and make a restaurant-quality Asian stir fry dinner at home. It’s perfect on everything from vegetables to noodles, meats, or seafood. A versatile, delicious sauce that takes your stir fry dishes to the next level!


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil


Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and the rest of the ingredients.
  • Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  • Remove from heat and your sauce is ready to mix with your favorite stir fry vegetables, noodles, meat, or seafood.
  • Alternatively, let it cool and store it in the refrigerator for up to one week.

  • Use 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of sauce per pan of stir fry (about 3-4 servings).
