Description

Perfectly baked jacket potatoes with crispy skin and fluffy soft interiors, finished with melting butter.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Wash and dry potatoes, then rub with oil and salt.
  3. Place directly on oven rack or baking tray.
  4. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until crisp outside and soft inside.
  5. Slice open and fluff interior.
  6. Add butter and serve hot.

Notes

  • Do not wrap in foil for crispy skin
  • Use starchy potatoes for best results
  • Serve immediately for best texture
