Description

French Toast Roll-Ups are crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and bursting with sweet fruit and cinnamon flavor — a handheld twist on classic French toast.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices white sandwich bread, crusts removed
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, diced
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Warm a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin. Spread cream cheese, add strawberries and blueberries, and roll tightly.
  4. Dip rolls in egg mixture, coating all sides.
  5. Fry in the skillet until golden brown on all sides, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  6. Immediately roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
  7. Serve warm with syrup or powdered sugar.

Notes

  • Use soft bread for easier rolling.
  • Warm cream cheese slightly for easier spreading.
