Savory, buttery, and packed with garlic and Parmesan, these Garlic Parmesan Herb Cruffins are a unique and delicious addition to any meal. With layers of crescent roll dough infused with herb butter, they’re as easy to make as they are irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 (8-ounce) tubes of crescent roll dough
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Reserve 1/4 cup of the butter mixture for brushing the tops of the cruffins later.
  • Roll out each crescent roll dough sheet with a rolling pin to create larger rectangles and blend the perforated lines together.
  • Spread a thin layer of the butter mixture evenly over each rectangle and sprinkle about 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese on each sheet.
  • Starting from the long edge, roll each sheet into a log and cut each log in half, then slice each shorter log in half lengthwise to expose the layered interior.
  • Wrap each piece of dough around your finger to form a muffin shape with the layered side facing outward and place in the prepared muffin pan.
  • Melt the reserved butter mixture and brush it generously over the tops of the cruffins. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through, until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and transfer to a cooling rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

These cruffins can be served as a side dish or snack and are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven.
