2 cups fresh spinach
1 green apple, cored and chopped
1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
1 kiwi, peeled
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 inch fresh ginger, peeled (optional)
1 cup cold water or coconut water
Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients:
Wash and prep all your fruits and vegetables. Peel and chop the cucumber, kiwi, and ginger for easier blending.
Blend:
In a blender, combine the spinach, green apple, cucumber, kiwi, lemon juice, ginger (if using), and water. Blend until smooth and no large chunks remain.
Strain (Optional):
If you prefer a smoother juice, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a bowl, pressing down with a spoon to extract the liquid.
Serve:
Pour the juice into a glass over ice cubes if desired. Garnish with a lemon slice or a sprig of mint for extra flair.
Notes
You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less apple.
For an extra kick, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few mint leaves in the blender.
