Description

A vibrant and flavorful twist on tacos, these Grilled Salmon Tacos with Cilantro Lime Crema combine smoky grilled salmon with a creamy, zesty cilantro lime sauce. Perfect for a summer meal or a light dinner!

For the Salmon:

  • 1 pound salmon fillet, cut into 4 pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Cilantro Lime Crema:

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Tacos:

  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • Toppings (optional): chopped red onion, avocado, pico de gallo, etc.


Instructions

  • Prepare the Salmon: Rub salmon fillets with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Grill the Salmon: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill salmon for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
  • Make the Cilantro Lime Crema: In a small bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, chili powder (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Assemble the Tacos: Warm the tortillas slightly. Place a piece of grilled salmon on each tortilla. Top with cilantro lime crema and desired toppings.
