- ½ cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 ½ cups mini chocolate chips
- Sprinkles (for decoration)

Prepare the Dough:
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips.

Shape the Cookies:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough to about ¼-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
- Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the cookies.
- Place them on a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Add Sprinkles & Bake:
- Sprinkle festive sprinkles over the cookies before baking.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden brown.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- If you don’t have a heart-shaped cutter, you can use any shape or simply make round cookies.
- For extra fun, drizzle some melted chocolate over the cooled cookies.
