Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  • Cook the Salmon:
    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
    • Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Glaze the Salmon:
    • Once the salmon is cooked, reduce the heat to low and pour the honey garlic sauce over the fillets.
    • Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, spooning the sauce over the salmon to ensure it’s fully coated.
  • Serve:
    • Remove the salmon from the skillet and place it on a serving platter.
    • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with your choice of sides.

Notes

  • Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or a green salad for a complete meal.
  • For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Make sure not to overcook the salmon to keep it tender and juicy.
