A mouthwatering Double Cheeseburger Pizza Stack recipe combining all your favorite flavors from cheeseburgers and pizza, stacked high with cheesy, meaty, and saucy layers. Perfect for family dinners, parties, or anyone craving a truly epic comfort food mashup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lbs ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for a firmer base)
  • 2 lbs ground beef, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup chopped onion, sautéed
  • Optional: Sliced pickles, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes
  • 1624 slices cheddar cheese (or your favorite burger cheese)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup mustard
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons relish (optional)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 812 oz pepperoni slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine 4 lbs ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, eggs, and breadcrumbs (if using). Mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture in half. Press each half evenly into two greased pizza pans or baking sheets to form two thick, round “crusts.”
  4. Bake the “crusts” for 20-25 minutes until cooked through. Drain excess grease.
  5. For the burger layers, spread half of the cooked and crumbled ground beef and sautéed onions over one meat “crust.”
  6. Add half of the optional pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes if desired.
  7. Arrange half of the cheddar cheese slices over the burger layer.
  8. Mix ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and relish. Spread half evenly over the cheese.
  9. Top with half the pizza sauce or marinara sauce, then sprinkle with half the mozzarella.
  10. Arrange half of the pepperoni slices on top.
  11. Repeat steps 5–10 for the second “crust.”
  12. Carefully stack the second assembled pizza on top of the first to create the double stack.
  13. Return the stacked pizzas to the oven for an additional 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and the stack is heated through.
  14. Allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can customize with your favorite burger toppings.
  • Swap out pepperoni for bacon or keep it classic for a true cheeseburger flavor.
  • Bake both “crusts” on parchment paper for easier removal and stacking.
  • Use leaner beef for less grease.
  • Leftovers reheat well in the oven.
