- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Add sliced jalapenos over the cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.

- Remove jalapeno seeds for a milder flavor.
