  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 8 oz lump crab meat (drained if canned)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • ¼ cup diced red bell pepper (optional)
  • Crackers, toasted bread, or chips for serving

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2: Mix the Base

  1. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice.
  2. Stir until well combined and smooth.

Step 3: Add the Crab

  1. Gently fold in the lump crab meat, green onions, and diced red bell pepper (if using). Be careful not to break up the crab too much.

Step 4: Bake the Dip

  1. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and spread evenly.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Let the dip cool slightly before serving with crackers, toasted bread, or tortilla chips.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, top the dip with a sprinkle of extra shredded cheese before baking.
  • If you prefer a spicier dip, add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper.
  • This dip can also be served cold if you prefer a no-bake version, just chill and serve with dippers.
