Description

This no-bake Lazy Cat Cake layers rich chocolate pudding, fluffy whipped topping, and a crispy chocolate cereal topping over a buttery cake base for the ultimate lazy dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boxes (3.9 oz each) Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix
  • 4 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) Whipped Topping
  • 2 cups Chocolate Cereal Puffs
  • Chocolate Cake or Biscuits (enough to cover base)
  • 1/4 cup Melted Butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
  2. Layer the chocolate cake or biscuits evenly in a 9×13-inch glass dish. Drizzle with melted butter to moisten.
  3. Spread the prepared pudding mixture over the base in an even layer.
  4. Top with a generous layer of whipped topping.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  6. Right before serving, sprinkle chocolate cereal puffs evenly on top for crunch.
  7. Slice, serve chilled, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use cold milk to help the pudding thicken faster.
  • Let the cake chill overnight for best flavor and texture.
  • Add toppings just before serving to keep them crispy.
  • Try layering in sliced bananas or strawberries for a fruity twist.
