Description

Limonana is a frosty, vibrant mint lemonade from the Middle East. Blended with fresh mint, lemon juice, sugar, and ice, it’s the ultimate refreshing drink for hot days and summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Lemon Juice: 1/2 cup (from about 3–4 lemons)
  • Fresh Mint Leaves: 1/2 cup, packed
  • Sugar: 1/4 cup, or to taste
  • Cold Water: 1 cup
  • Ice Cubes: 2 cups
  • Lemon Slices and Mint Sprigs (for garnish): optional

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar, cold water, and ice cubes.
  2. Blend until the mixture is smooth and slushy, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed. Strain if you prefer a smoother texture.
  4. Pour into glasses and garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs.
  5. Serve immediately while cold and frothy.

Notes

  • Use crushed ice for faster blending and smoother texture.
  • Add a splash of soda water for a fizzy twist.
  • Freeze lemon juice in advance for an extra-chilled version.
