Limonana is a frosty, vibrant mint lemonade from the Middle East. Blended with fresh mint, lemon juice, sugar, and ice, it’s the ultimate refreshing drink for hot days and summer gatherings.
Ingredients
- Fresh Lemon Juice: 1/2 cup (from about 3–4 lemons)
- Fresh Mint Leaves: 1/2 cup, packed
- Sugar: 1/4 cup, or to taste
- Cold Water: 1 cup
- Ice Cubes: 2 cups
- Lemon Slices and Mint Sprigs (for garnish): optional
Instructions
- In a blender, combine lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar, cold water, and ice cubes.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth and slushy, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Taste and adjust sweetness as needed. Strain if you prefer a smoother texture.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs.
- Serve immediately while cold and frothy.
