Description

Maple Syrup Coffee is a cozy, naturally sweetened drink made with rich brewed coffee, pure maple syrup, and optional cream or whipped topping for a comforting café-style treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup freshly brewed coffee
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Warm your coffee mug with hot water, then discard the water.
  2. Brew 1 cup of strong coffee and pour it into the mug.
  3. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and stir well to combine.
  4. If using milk or cream, warm it and add to the coffee. Stir again.
  5. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.
  6. Serve immediately while hot, or let cool and serve over ice for a chilled version.

Notes

  • Use 100% pure maple syrup for the best flavor.
  • Start with 1 tablespoon of syrup and adjust to taste.
  • Try frothing your milk for a latte-style texture.
  • Use dark roast coffee for a deeper flavor contrast.
