The ultimate fusion of two favorites—Meat Lovers Pizza Tacos are loaded with ground beef, crispy bacon, and pepperoni, all smothered in marinara and cheese, tucked into a golden taco shell for a handheld pizza experience.
Ingredients
- Ground Beef: 1 pound
- Pepperoni: 1/2 cup, chopped
- Cooked Bacon: 1/2 cup, crumbled
- Taco Shells: 8
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese: 1 cup
- Marinara Sauce: 3/4 cup
- Diced Tomatoes: 1/2 cup
- Chopped Onions: 1/4 cup
- Minced Garlic: 2 cloves
- Dried Oregano: 1 teaspoon
- Fresh Parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Crushed Red Pepper Flakes: 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic in a bit of oil until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in pepperoni, bacon, marinara sauce, oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Place taco shells on the baking sheet and sprinkle some mozzarella inside each shell.
- Fill each taco shell with the meat mixture, then top with more mozzarella and diced tomatoes.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and tacos are crispy. Broil for 1–2 minutes if desired.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with dipping sauces.
