- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup milk
- ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Parchment paper, for setting cookies
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet or clean surface with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder. Heat over medium, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
- Bring to a rolling boil and boil for exactly 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter, oats, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper and let cool for 30 minutes until set.
- Serve and enjoy, or chill for firmer texture.

- Use quick oats for a smoother texture or rolled oats for extra chew.
- Natural peanut butter may affect consistency—use creamy traditional.
