One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta is a rich, hearty dish made with tender ground beef, pasta cooked in a flavorful garlic butter sauce, and a creamy, cheesy finish. This easy one-pot meal is perfect for busy weeknights and delivers comfort in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 12 oz penne or other short pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or deep skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Season with onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour in beef broth and add the uncooked pasta. Stir well, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  5. Once pasta is cooked, stir in heavy cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Let simmer uncovered for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Add spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter sauce.
  • Top with red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
