- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
- In a bowl whisk together orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Add olive oil to the hot skillet.
- Add sliced beef and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until browned.
- Pour the prepared sauce into the skillet.
- Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the sauce.
- Simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.
- Sprinkle green onions and black pepper on top.
- Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
Notes
- Slice the beef against the grain for maximum tenderness.
- Fresh orange juice gives the best flavor.
- If the sauce thickens too much, add a tablespoon of water.
- Add chili flakes if you want a little heat.
