These Oreo Balls are a delightful no-bake treat made with just three ingredients: Oreos, cream cheese, and chocolate. They are rich, creamy, and easy to make, making them the perfect sweet treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 bag chocolate chips (milk or dark)
  • Sprinkles, for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos:
    • Using a food processor or placing the cookies in a zip-top bag, crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  • Mix with cream cheese:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with the softened cream cheese. Mix until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  • Form into balls:
    • Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in size, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Chill the balls:
    • Refrigerate the Oreo balls for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Melt the chocolate:
    • While the balls chill, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  • Dip and decorate:
    • Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off. Place the dipped balls back on the parchment paper. If desired, sprinkle with decorations like sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
  • Set and enjoy:
    • Refrigerate the dipped Oreo balls until the chocolate is fully set, about 15-20 minutes. Once set, enjoy your sweet treat!

Notes

  • These Oreo balls can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Feel free to use any type of chocolate for dipping, such as milk, dark, or white chocolate.
