Description

Crispy, golden phyllo rolls filled with creamy feta and fresh dill, then drizzled with spicy chili honey for the ultimate sweet and savory snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 10 sheets phyllo dough, thawed if frozen
  • 1 ½ cups feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix feta, cream cheese, dill, lemon zest, and black pepper until combined.
  3. Lay out one phyllo sheet, brush with olive oil, top with another sheet, and brush again.
  4. Place 1–2 tablespoons of filling near the bottom edge, fold in sides, and roll tightly. Repeat.
  5. Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet and brush tops with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden and crisp.
  7. While baking, warm honey and chili flakes in a saucepan over low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
  8. Drizzle chili honey over rolls before serving. Enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Keep phyllo covered with a damp towel to prevent drying.
  • Don’t overfill rolls to avoid leaking.
  • Chilling before baking helps them keep their shape.
  • Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
