These easy, no-bake pecan pie balls are a sweet and indulgent treat. With toasted pecans, graham cracker crumbs, and a hint of bourbon or apple juice, they are dipped in melted chocolate for a delicious, bite-sized dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pecans, toasted and finely chopped
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup bourbon or apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted (for dipping)

Instructions

  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the toasted pecans, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, and salt.
  • Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in the maple syrup, bourbon (or apple juice), and vanilla extract until the mixture is well combined and sticks together.
  • Form the Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Chill: Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Dip in Chocolate: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, coating partially or fully based on your preference.
  • Set the Chocolate: Return the chocolate-dipped balls to the parchment paper to let the chocolate set.
  • Store: Keep the pecan pie balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the bourbon with apple juice or water.
  • If you prefer, you can roll the balls in powdered sugar instead of dipping them in chocolate for a different texture.
