- 1 sheet refrigerated pizza dough (about 400g)
- 1/2 cup tomato pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 100g pepperoni slices
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter (optional, for brushing)
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the pizza sauce with Italian seasoning.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread the sauce evenly over the dough, then top with mozzarella and pepperoni slices.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long edge to form a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch pieces and arrange on the prepared tray, spiral side up.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Brush with melted butter or olive oil and sprinkle with parmesan if desired.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Let the dough come to room temperature before rolling to make it easier to handle.
- Use dental floss for clean slicing without squashing the rolls.
