Description

Chunky, creamy guacamole made with ripe avocados, lime, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, and a touch of garlic. It’s fresh, zesty, and perfect for dipping or spreading on everything.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 small Roma tomato, deseeded and diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped


Instructions

  1. Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Use a fork or masher to mash avocados to desired texture—chunky or smooth.
  3. Stir in onion, tomato, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, salt, cumin (if using), and jalapeño.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Let sit for 10 minutes to allow flavors to develop, then serve with chips or your favorite dish.

Notes

  • Store with plastic wrap pressed directly on the surface to prevent browning.
  • For a milder dip, remove jalapeño seeds or omit entirely.
  • Skip tomatoes for a smoother texture.
  • Add more lime or a pinch of sugar to balance flavors if needed.
