Description

Quick, flaky, and sweet, these Pie Crust Cinnamon Rolls are made with buttery pie dough, cinnamon sugar filling, and a simple vanilla glaze. The perfect shortcut treat for breakfast, dessert, or snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet pie crust dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Roll out the pie crust into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Brush with melted butter, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Roll up tightly and slice into ½-inch rounds.
  6. Place rolls on baking sheet, cut side down, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden.
  7. In another bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to form glaze.
  8. Drizzle glaze over slightly cooled rolls and serve warm.

Notes

  • Chill the rolled dough for 10 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
  • Double the icing for a sweeter finish.
  • Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
